Kathy Abraham

Founder and Director

Kathy Abraham is the founder and director of Daughters of St. Katherine. Through teaching, mentorship, and discipleship, she is passionate about helping women grow in their relationship with Christ, become grounded in Scripture, and live out their God-given calling with confidence and purpose.

Kathy is also the founder of Abiding Light, a Christian publishing ministry dedicated to creating biblically rooted resources for spiritual growth and discipleship. She is also the host of The Bible Made Real with Kathy podcast and serves as an author, speaker, and mentor, focusing on spiritual formation, biblical literacy, leadership development, and Christ-centered community.

With a background in theology, ministry leadership, and entrepreneurship, Kathy brings both biblical depth and practical wisdom to her work. Her greatest desire is to see women rooted in Christ, transformed by His truth, and equipped to flourish in every season of life.

Ava Mattar

Content Creator & Grief Ministry Co-Lead

Ava Mattar is a writer, creative designer, and ministry servant passionate about helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. She is dedicated to creating resources that encourage spiritual growth, healing, and practical faith.

Ava serves with Daughters of St. Katherine and Abiding Light, where she helps develop ministry resources through branding, graphic design, curriculum materials, devotionals, and book projects. As Co-Lead of the Grief Ministry, she helps create resources and foster supportive spaces for individuals navigating loss, healing, and hope.

She is the co-host of Worth More Than Rubies, a podcast dedicated to encouraging young women in their faith and walk with Christ. Ava lives in Orange County, California, and enjoys writing, singing, spending time with family and friends, and being near the beach.

Chantal Boules

Strategist I Grief and Dating & Marriage Ministry Lead

Chantal Boules is a ministry leader, writer, and mentor passionate about spiritual formation, emotional healing, and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. As the Dating & Marriage Ministry Lead and Grief Ministry Lead for Daughters of Saint Katherine, she develops ministry resources, discipleship programs, and initiatives that support women in every season of life.

In addition to leading these ministries, Chantal helps shape strategic initiatives and ministry development efforts across Daughters of Saint Katherine and Abiding Light. Her background includes studies through St. Athanasius & St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS), which informs her passion for spiritual formation, discipleship, and ministry development. She is currently developing writing projects focused on spiritual growth, grief, healing, and Christ-centered relationships. Outside of ministry, she enjoys running, hiking, exploring national parks, baking, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Dalia Salib

Dating & Marriage Ministry Co-Lead

Dalia Salib is passionate about helping individuals pursue Christ-centered relationships rooted in faith, wisdom, and intentionality. As Co-Lead of the Dating & Marriage Ministry, she helps develop resources, facilitate discussions, and support individuals navigating singleness, dating, engagement, and marriage.

Dalia lives in Santa Monica, California, with her husband and two children. She is passionate about building strong families, investing in meaningful relationships, and helping others cultivate healthy, God-honoring relationships that reflect Christ’s love and faithfulness.

Sylvia Girgis

Grief Ministry Co-Lead

Sylvia Girgis is passionate about walking alongside individuals experiencing grief, loss, and life’s difficult transitions. As Co-Lead of the Grief Ministry, she helps create supportive environments where people can find comfort, healing, community, and hope through Christ.

Through compassion, encouragement, and ministry leadership, Sylvia seeks to remind others that they are not alone in their pain and that God’s presence remains faithful in every season. She is passionate about fostering authentic community and helping others experience God’s comfort through meaningful connection and support.

Marian Awad

Motherhood Ministry Lead

Marian Awad serves as the Motherhood Ministry Lead, where she is passionate about encouraging and equipping women as they navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood. She is committed to creating a supportive community where mothers can grow spiritually, build meaningful connections, and find encouragement in every season of parenting.

As a wife and mother, Marian understands the beauty and complexity of raising a family while pursuing a life rooted in Christ. Through ministry, mentorship, and authentic community, she seeks to help women embrace their calling as mothers while remaining strengthened by God’s grace.

Michelle Tadros

DOSK Idaho Chapter Lead

Michelle Tadros serves as the Idaho Chapter Lead for Daughters of Saint Katherine, where she is passionate about building Christ-centered community and helping women grow in their faith and relationship with Christ. Through leadership, discipleship, and authentic connection, she seeks to create spaces where women feel supported, encouraged, and equipped to live out their God-given calling.

Michelle previously served as Director of Student Affairs at St. Athanasius & St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS), where she worked closely with students, faculty, and leadership to support spiritual and academic formation. Based in Idaho, she enjoys fostering meaningful relationships and helping others experience the beauty of Orthodox Christian community.
